We're seeking a barn hand who is responsible, hard-working and reliable to add to our team to help with the operation of our farm. We are a small farm that invests in the care of our horses and ensures their living in a healthy environment. You will work indepentently or alongside the owner and boarders of HHIA on tasks such as:
- A.M. and P.M. horse/livestock feedings
- Watering horses/livestock
- Mucking Stalls/Paddocks
- Replacing Hay/Bedding
- Perform Grooming/Bathing Tasks
- General Cleaning
- Putting on/off Blankets (Seasonal)
- Farm Maintenance
Job Requirements:
- Must have previous work experience and references
- Able to perform hard manual labor for long periods of time
- Holistic Horse Handling
- Ability to work indendently, efficiently and as a part of a team
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation
Wages:
- Hourly wages differ per tasks
