Weekend Barn Hand

We're seeking a barn hand who is responsible, hard-working and reliable to add to our team to help with the operation of our farm. We are a small farm that invests in the care of our horses and ensures their living in a healthy environment. You will work indepentently or alongside the owner and boarders of HHIA on tasks such as:

A.M. and P.M. horse/livestock feedings
Watering horses/livestock
Mucking Stalls/Paddocks
Replacing Hay/Bedding
Perform Grooming/Bathing Tasks
General Cleaning
Putting on/off Blankets (Seasonal)
Farm Maintenance

Job Requirements:

Must have previous work experience and references
Able to perform hard manual labor for long periods of time
Holistic Horse Handling
Ability to work indendently, efficiently and as a part of a team
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
Reliable transportation

Wages:

Hourly wages differ per tasks
Additional income opportunities available
